The final reports of the Cluster Booster Track programme are beginning to be drawn up !
The Cluster Booster Track programme, coordinated by France Clusters in the framework of its partnership with THE NEXT SOCIETY, an initiative co-financed by the European Union, will end for most sites at the end of June. This learning and mentoring support programme has involved 25 South-Mediterranean cluster managers in many different sectors (agri-food, textiles, ICT, energy, materials, creative industries, tourism) and 25 European mentors, local actors ready to share their experience. The first final reports of the operation are beginning to be drawn up and the feedback is extremely positive regarding the process that was launched. There is an overall satisfaction of the project, on both of the mentees and the mentors sides.
The report of the project drawn up by the mentees is seen as very rewarding. For the mentees, the Cluster Booster Track program gave them a different perspective on the actions they carry out on a daily basis, but also on the process they have to undertake on an international level. Opening the dialogue with their European counterparts has enabled them to break out of a certain isolation on their territory and open up their field of action.
For the mentors, the results are also really positive. Thanks to the programme, they were able to discover new contexts, to break out of their daily lives and to face new issues, as well as new cultural and economic fields regarding the excercising of cluster management.
The general assessment already appears as extremely positive and although the programme is coming to an end, the professional link forged between the mentees and the mentors has become a real human bound.
