France Clusters and Plastipolis are taking part in the AlpLinkBioEco*, funded by the Interreg Alpine Space programme. It was launched in Freiburg, on 4 and 5 June June and brings together thirteen partners from Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland.
The AlpLinkBioEco project mainly consists in developing a transregional strategy for a circular bio-economy. It includes a road map and a pilot tool to evaluate, select and create innovative and transregional value chains in the sectors of forestry, of agriculture and of food and pharmaceutical products packaging and in the chemical industry. To this aim, a key step will be to map the clusters present in the Alpine Space regions.
Indeed, the AlpLinkBioEco project aims to enable a tailored matching of bio-based-economy stakeholders in the Alpine Space, to enable the development of high value added products and applications and to draw recommendations for the development of a common Alpine Space policy in favour of a circular bio-based economy.
