Context

One of the top priorities for cluster organisations is building a strong identity and brand and communicating – for talent attraction, raising capital, acquiring members or partnerships,
internationalisation, lobbying etc.

The internationalisation (at European or global level) incrasingly poses various challenges for the
communication programs : how to deal with these challenges in a very complex and inter-connected
ecosystem?

Objectives

Providing cluster managers with practical knowledge in building their communication strategy

  • Providing cluster managers with practical knowledge in building their communication strategy
  • Defining the communication target groups (with a focus on international stakeholders/actors)
  • Understanding the difference between branding and marketing and the benefits of (international) branding
  • Understanding how clusters can implement various marketing and networking approaches in an international context (at European and/or gloval level)
